Parallels is much more of a last ditch resort, but most of the games fortunately run well on the Crossover. OK I can confirm now that GHub Version 20 is working well under MacOS BIgSur + Mac Mini M1. I am a M1 MacBook owner who wants to run FFXIV. I've run Left4Dead2, Danganronpa 2, and Assassin's Creed pretty well using the system. Go for that, since it's a pretty reliable emulator on the M1.
